Super Sabre Connector System

Molex Super Sabre Connector System is a high-current, power interconnect system designed for a wide range of applications requiring flexible configurations. Features include a flat blade terminal design with four points of electrical contact, fully isolated terminals on both mating sides, positive latch and TPA features (Terminal Position Assurance), silver-plated interface, and an optional UL1950 "Finger Test" certified blade. Super Sabre provides 34.0A per blade and 600V with a variety of power and power/signal options. The system's unique option of power and signal combinations enables designers to use a single connector housing to mate high-current and low current power (under 5.0A) while reducing size and cost of the total interconnect package. Super Sabre is well-suited for networking & telecommunications, appliances / white goods, automotive, power supplies for 100 to 600W units, and medical applications.

Sabre Power Connectors

Molex Sabre Power Connector system is ideal for robust, higher-current applications, which require design flexibility for wire-to-wire and wire-to-board configurations in both vertical and right-angle orientations. Sabre provides current ratings up to 18A per circuit at 600V and is available in a wide range of wire gauges and insulation thicknesses. Sabre is designed with an integral TPA feature which can be optionally activated by the customer. This feature redundantly locks the terminal to the housing to prevent terminal blackouts in high vibration applications. Molex Sabre connectors are available in single-row 2 to 8 circuit options and accept a wide range of wire gauges, insulation thicknesses and have a through-hole PCB termination style available for several standard PCB thicknesses.
