MicroMod Weather Carrier Board (SEN-16794)

SparkFun MicroMod Weather Carrier Board (SEN-16794) allows for creating a weather station with one of a multitude of processors. The board includes three sensors. The BME280 temperature, pressure, and humidity sensor, the VEML6075 UV sensor, and the AS3935 Lightning detector. Along with these on-board sensors, there is a 3-pin latch terminal to add an external soil moisture sensor and a pair of RJ11 jacks to plug in the wind and rain sensors included with our Weather Meter Kit.

MicroMod Devices

SparkFun MicroMod Devices include MicroMod-compatible processors, carrier boards, and carrier kits. MicroMod is a modular interface ecosystem that connects a microcontroller processor board to various carrier board peripherals by utilizing the M.2 standard. This MicroMod standard utilizes the M.2 connector and specification to increase the availability of parts and reduce the cost of the connector. The SparkFun MicroMod processor board comes in 22mm x 22mm dimensions and can be inserted into any MicroMod carrier board. This MicroMod standard is designed to swap out controllers.
