Warp Speed Ahead
Star Trek Continues Its Original Mission: To Boldly Go Where No One Has Gone Before.
In the pursuit of out-of-this-world ideas and inspiring new innovation, Mouser recently found itself transported to the flight bridge of the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701). In actuality, it was STAGE 9, the detailed studio of Star Trek Continues, a web series that carries on the original five-year mission to explore Space: The final frontier.
Bearing a strong resemblance to James Tiberious Kirk, executive producer Vic Mignogna, along with a group of like-minded fans are extending the ‘60s CBS TV show’s run in an effort to complete the last two years of the first five-year mission. The production and its friends have meticulously recreated the original costumes, working sets, including the flight bridge and engine room to other strange worlds. Much of the effort has been funded by like-minded fans through Kickstarter , continuing the journey to seek out new life and new civilizations across the far reaches of space. So far the crew aboard the USS Enterprise has produced three episodes, vignettes and other behind-the-scenes content, garnering acclaim from both critics and fans with the accuracy of the sets, lighting and filming to the quality of the acting. Episodes IV and V have already been completed and IV is planned to be released in late May, 2015. Be prepared to be beamed aboard.
