AUTOMATE Type A Mini-FAKRA Cable Assemblies

Amphenol RF AUTOMATE Type A Mini-FAKRA Cable Assemblies are designed on highly flexible TFC-302LL cables and offer a DC to 9GHz frequency range and 50Ω impedance. These assemblies feature an automotive industry-standard snap-on interface on one end and a secure threaded coupling mechanism on the other. The assemblies are constructed with compact, modular housing and quad-port configuration, providing a space-saving design of up to 80% compared with traditional FAKRA connectors. The universal Z color-coding and mechanical keying make these cables intermateable with all other key codes. Amphenol RF AUTOMATE Type A Mini-FAKRA Cable Assemblies are pre-configured, making them suitable for cameras and other high-bandwidth applications in automotive and industrial environments.

FAKRA Automotive Connectors

Amphenol RF FAKRA Automotive Connectors are designed to perform up to 6GHz and meet the particular mechanical and environmental requirements of the automotive industry to ensure reliable communication inside, to, and from vehicles. Amphenol RF also offers a variety of FAKRA connectors for PCB and antenna interfaces, as well as mixed dual coax/power FAKRA connectors. Amphenol RF FAKRA connectors comply with USCAR 17 and 18. Utilizing a modified metal SMB coaxial connector, the (female) jack features a closed-entry interface with a protected outer contact, making the connector more robust than traditional SMBs. These FAKRA connectors are embedded within a plastic housing that features multiple color codes for easy identification and unique keying to prevent mismating.
