Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing Team Celebrates Podium Finish at IMSA Lexus Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio

May 18, 2022 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, congratulates the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team on their exciting third-place finish in the GTD PRO class at this past weekend’s Lexus Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio.

Following a sixth-position start, drivers Aaron Telitz and Frankie Montecalvo piloted the No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 to a third-place finish.

Mouser is teaming up with Molex LLC to sponsor both the No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 GTD Class and the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 GTD PRO Class entries for the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. Team drivers for the season include Townsend Bell, Richard Heistand, Frank Montecalvo and Aaron Telitz in the No. 12 car and Jack Hawksworth, Kyle Kirkwood and Ben Barnicoat in the No. 14 car. The GTD PRO class did not compete at the Mid-Ohio race, so Vasser Sullivan entered a second car, the No. 17 Lexus, in the GTD Class with Hawksworth and Barnicoat behind the wheel.

Next, the series heads to the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix Presented by Lear, followed by five more races before the finale at Motul Petit Le Mans on October 1 in Atlanta.
